How do I post a listing?
Sign in to RitchieList.com and select the Create Listing option which will automatically take you to the Add Listing page on the IMS. Follow the instructions on that page to create a listing.
Please note:
- You must complete your listing payment prior to publishing the listing
- Your completed listing will be sent for review with our internal team before being published.
How do I edit or remove a listing?
Sign in to RitchieList.com and select the Manage Listing option
Once you are automatically taken to the IMS, go to My Listings and select the listing you want to edit. Follow the instructions to either edit or remove your listing.
Note: Before your updated/edited listing is published, it will be sent for review with our internal team before being re-published.
How do I respond to Want To Buy ads?
At this time private sellers cannot see or receive Want To Buy ads placed by buyers. You can only place them as a buyer.

PurchaseSafe™ is Ritchie Bros.’ secure transaction management service that eliminates the risk and hassle when transacting privately. When you use PurchaseSafe™, Ritchie Bros. handles the invoicing, lien searches, sales documentation, secure funds transfer, taxation, and title transfer.

How do I sell equipment when a buyer is using PurchaseSafe™?
- Buyer reviews the listing, negotiates directly with Seller and agrees to buy
- Buyer chooses to use PurchaseSafe, PurchaseSafe team is informed
- PurchaseSafe team communicates with Seller, Seller selects PurchaseSafe from the workflow under My Account
- PurchaseSafe performs lien/title searches and secures Buyer payment
- Sale is completed – Seller receives payment, releases item to Buyer, PurchaseSafe transfers invoices, titles, relevant paperwork between parties
How much does PurchaseSafe™? cost?
As a seller, there is no cost to you. The buyer requests and pays for the PurchaseSafe™ service.
